The Role
We are looking for Design Interns to join the Diocese of Delhi's Communications team and help shape how the Diocese communicates visually across its churches, institutions, events, and digital platforms.
You will work closely with the Communications team to create engaging digital and print materials while helping establish and maintain a consistent visual identity across the Diocese.
This is a hands-on role. You will work on real projects that are seen and used by churches, clergy, young people, institutions, and communities across the Diocese.

Duration: 3 months
Stipend: ₹15,000
Responsibilities
Create graphics for social media, events, announcements, campaigns, and diocesan communications
Design posters, banners, invitations, presentations, newsletters, and other print materials
Develop templates that can be used by parishes and diocesan institutions
Apply the Diocese of Delhi's brand guidelines consistently across communications
Support the development of visual resources for parish and institution onboarding
Work with photographers and video/content interns to create cohesive visual campaigns
Prepare files for both digital and print production
Contribute ideas for improving the Diocese's visual communication
Maintain organised design files, templates, and brand assets
Support design requirements for major diocesan events and initiatives
What You'll Learn
This internship is designed to give you practical experience beyond classroom projects.
You will gain experience in:
Professional graphic design workflows
Branding and visual identity
Social media design
Print and digital production
Working with real customers and stakeholders
Creative briefing and project management
Designing within established brand guidelines
Building a professional design portfolio
Working as part of a communications team
You will leave the programme with three months of published and professionally produced work that you can use in your portfolio.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Design, Visual Communication, Fine Arts, Media, or a related field, or currently pursuing a bachelor's degree
Experience with design tools such as Adobe Creative Cloud, Figma, Canva, or equivalent
Experience creating digital or print design assets
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects
Strong written and verbal communication skills
A letter of recommendation from your church/pastor
Preferred Competencies
Experience with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or InDesign
Experience designing for social media and digital platforms
Knowledge of typography, branding, and layout design
Experience preparing designs for print production
Experience working with non-profits, community organisations, or student organisations
Basic photography or video editing experience
Professional experience is not required. We are interested in your potential, creativity, and willingness to learn.

A Diocese of Delhi Design Internship Completion Certificate, signed by the Bishop
A portfolio of published work produced during the internship
Experience working on real diocesan and institutional projects
The internship is a fixed-term three-month programme and does not guarantee permanent employment.
