Venue: Christian Hospital & CNI Christ Church, Jagadhri
Theme: “The Joy of a Repentant Heart, Response to God’s Invitation, and Restoration in Christ”
The Delhi Diocesan Annual Haryana Convention 2025 was held from February 28 to March 2 at Christian Hospital, Jagadhri. This three-day spiritual gathering, organized by the churches of Haryana region under the leadership of the convener Rev. A.J. Massey and hosted by Rt. Revd. Dr. Paul Swarup, brought together believers and pastors from across Haryana to reflect on repentance, grace, and restoration through God’s Word.
Day 1 – The Joy of a Repentant Heart (Luke 15:11–32)
The convention opened with prayer and heartfelt praise & worship led by local churches.
Bishop Paul Swarup delivered a powerful message based on the parable of the prodigal son, reminding the congregation that God longs to restore every heart that turns back to Him.
The focus was on God’s unconditional love and the call to return and serve Him wholeheartedly.
The day concluded with offering, prayers, and benediction.
Day 2 – The Response to God’s Invitation (Luke 14:15–24)
A morning prayer session covered intercessions for the Synod, Diocese, and personal prayer requests.
Due to bad weather, the main session was held at Shibu Mall Dharamshala, where a large crowd gathered.
Extended praise and worship was followed by Bishop Swarup’s sermon on God's open invitation.
The message highlighted how many reject God’s call due to worldly distractions, and how the Gospel embraces those considered outcasts.
The congregation was encouraged to respond to God’s call with urgency and humility.
Day 3 – The Joy of Restoration (Luke 19:1–10)
The final day began with a Holy Communion service and a grand procession.
Praise and Worship was led by different churches and the tone was set for the Word of God.
Bishop Swarup shared a message on the transformation of Zacchaeus, focusing on the joy and responsibility of being restored in Christ.
The service culminated in the celebration of the Lord’s Supper, uniting the congregation in worship and reflection.
The convention was a time of deep spiritual renewal, marked by joyful worship, solid biblical teaching, and a renewed commitment to live restored lives in Christ. We praise God for His presence and grace throughout the event.
